Should I play MultiVersus in 2024?

The good

The game has an amazing potential with the amount of IP’s WB owns and can add to the game. The game looks awesome. The addition of parry is a nice addition.

The bad

The game feels very clunky and slow now. The gameplay is slow and sluggish. There is no differentiation between walking and running, making it difficult to perform certain attacks. The game has poor connection issues and is missing features like scoreboard and variable jump height. The monetization is worse than before, with a lack of fighter points and skin prices misaligning with premium currency denominations.

It’s a huge disappointment. The game has potential, but the launch version is a step backwards from the beta version. The slow gameplay and lack of features like scoreboard and variable jump height make it unenjoyable to play. The monetization is also poor, making it difficult to progress in the game. Unfortunately, the verdict is that it’s not worth playing in its current state. If you’re considering buying the game, wait until it gets better. The game’s developers need to rework the game to fix the issues and make it enjoyable again.
